GILGAL HORSES

Our Ranch is situated 15Km outside Cartagena de Indias, on the road to Turbaco.  It is a fairly modern facility with 40 Stables, each stable has an overhead cealing fan to help horses beat that terrible Caribbean midday heat.

The Stables have a double layered roof which helps keep the area cool and stops the sun beating on a single point, the place is surrounded by large trees to add shade and freshness.  We have a beautiful brook running through the middle of the Ranch, so water is never an issue.

The South Stables share exercises yards, which works on a 3-1 ratio.
Foaling boxes share Exercise Yards on a 2-1 ratio.

We have 2 large tack rooms and a dry feed room.  Our training area has been developed to offer a range of challenges to the horses and riders, from simple hacks to full show tasks, we have used vegetation as part of the design, which has worked really well.
